AnDy Wu
Born in Taiwan and based between Los Angeles and Taipei, AnDy Wu is a film editor with a background in both digital culture and studio filmmaking. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with an MFA in Film and TV Production, he first gained recognition as a mashup artist on YouTube, where his work amassed over 650,000 subscribers and more than 250 million views, drawing attention from global artists and Hollywood producers alike.
AnDy’s editing work can be found across major feature films, including projects within the Blumhouse universe such as the Insidious and Five Nights at Freddy’s franchises. Known for his instinctive sense of rhythm and his ability to fuse sound, music, and image, he specializes in shaping tension, mood, and emotional undercurrents through editorial storytelling.
Whether working on large scale studio features or more intimate projects, AnDy is driven by a desire to create immersive cinematic experiences that explore fear, healing, and the space where cultures and voices intersect.
